Videora iPod Converter is a free iPod video converter that converts video files, YouTube videos, movies and DVD’s so you can play them on your iPod, You can also convert videos for the iPhone.

This includes the new iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod classic in addition to the 5th generation iPod.

The software, developed by the creators of Videora, can convert all types of video files (avi, divx, xvid, flv, x264, vob, mpeg, DVD’s, YouTube, etc.) into the proper video formats (MPEG-4, H.264) that play on the iPod.

Videora utilizes a number of seperate programs including FFmpeg, NicMP4Box, MediaInfo, AviSynth and VSFilter. Videora also utilizes a number of libraries including XULRunner and GeckoFX.

Converting video files in Videora iPod Converter is dead easy (when connected to the internet), as it has a built-in online guide to help you convert your videos.

You can still convert videos if you do not have an internet connection present. However, you may only use the Power Mode to convert videos, as the Normal Mode requires the internet to show its online guide.

Normal Mode is for users that don’t understand technical jargon and want an easy way to convert videos. On the other hand, Power Mode is for users who understand acronyms like MPEG-4, H.264, QVGA, VGA, Kbps, terms like 1 Pass, 2 Pass, AviSynth and want the ability to change every possible video conversion setting.

The Video Settings lets Videora iPod Converter know how you want your video converted. You can change each of the settings by clicking a slider knob (Orange Square) and dragging it to the setting you want.

Once the conversion is complete, the video will be automatically added to iTunes. To place the video on your iPod, simply sync your iPod with iTunes.

Extra: Converting Multiple Files - You can convert multiple files (one after another), You do not have to wait until the first conversion is complete, you can follow these steps while your first video is still converting.

If there is a conversion in progress then your video will be automatically added to the conversion queue seen in the “Progress” tab above. Once the software finish converting the current video, it will convert all remaining videos in the conversion queue.
