Sopcast is a Streaming Direct Broadcasting System based on P2P. The core is the communication protocol produced by Sopcast Team, which is named sop://, or SoP technology.
You can build your own TV stations comparable with large commercial sites with minimal resources, Using SopCast, you can serve 10,000 online users with a personal computer and a home broadband connection.
In “General Option” tab, you can choose your preferred language, 14 languages (English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, Français, Dutch, Español, Polski, Deutsch, ελληνικά, Italiano, Português, Romanian, Slovenian, 日本語) are available in version 3.0.3.
If you tick off the “Allow only one instance of SopCast” checkbox, you can open multiple SopPlayers simultaneously to view different channels if you have enough bandwidth and hardware resource.
SopPlayer uses Windows Media Player to play media data received by default, but you can specify your preferred media player to do that.
