Messenger Plus! is an add-on for Windows Live Messenger that adds tons of features and extras to the software. Extend the possibilities of Messenger and make your experience a lot more entertaining.
You won’t just get a couple of new options, what you’ll get is a whole new dimension for the Windows Live Messenger software.
The new features can be accessed easily from the various Plus! menus and buttons you’ll find added to all the main Messenger windows.
- Animations (Winks): Add to your chat expressions arsenal and enrich your chat experience with this fun feature. Send animations (winks) to your friends, family and co-workers. Preview the animations before sending them to your contacts from within the winks panel.
- Skin Your Messenger: Create your own basic skin from scratch or completely change the look of your Messenger 2009-2011 Windows with our large easy-to-install skins database.
- Account Polygamy (Multiple Accounts): Just check a box in Messenger Plus! preferences and you’ll be up and runnig for simultaneous signing into more than one Messenger Plus! account . There’s no need to patch any file or use other Messenger clients any longer!
- Plugins: Plugins permit developers to painlessly add their own features to Windows Live Messenger and benefit from an extensive list of additional options for their Messenger client.
- Chat Log Viewer: View Windows Live Messenger chat log sessions as stored on disk, sorted by date or contact name. Use the advanced chat log filtering to quickly retrieve prior chat conversations.
- Online Log Storage: View your online Windows Live Messenger chat log directly from the msgplus.net website when logged into your Messanger Plus! account. Sort logs chronologically, by date or contact name. Search for your logs by using advanced log filtering functions.
- MyPlus! Account: Gain access to all of our internet based features such as Chat and Events Online Logs, settings, skins back-ups and much more.
- Quick Texts: Tired of always typing the same? Meet quick texts and text replacements: automatic and customizable messages that can be sent with a simple shortcut or typed command, or automatic text replacing to use written shortcuts or using it as a word filter.
- Tabbed chats: Use a tabbed web browser? Even if you don’t, you might find tabbed conversations useful for organizing your chats by converting a myriad of windows into a simple single one. Vertical tabs on the left, normal tabs on the top. You name it. You can also use tabs to group just some special chats and keep all the rest in normal windows if you want.
- Contacts on Desktop: Similar to what ICQ used to offer, you can show the status of any desired contact on your desktop in the form of small floating windows. You can drag and drop messages or links into these to send a message to the contact, or drop a file to start a transfer.
- HTML Chat Logging: Messenger Plus! Live lets you keep logs of all your conversations in a much more flexible way than the original Messenger ones. Heck, Plus! let you do that for years before MSN Messenger added it as a standard, though not perfect, feature. But what does Plus! Live improve over it?
- HTML Logs: beautiful styling and the flexibility of files you can take anywhere.
