Chit Chat for Facebook is a free Facebook chat instant messenger (IM) that allows you to chat with your Facebook friends from your desktop.
Chit Chat connects to Facebook and removes the need of a web-browser to talk over Facebook Chat.
Chit Chat for Facebook makes it possible for you to use Facebook Chat from your desktop like you would Windows Live Messenger or AIM.
In addition to enabling you to use Facebook Chat without your web-browser the Facebook Messenger ‘Chit Chat for Facebook’ provides a variety of other benefits.
For example, your Facebook chat history can be saved. Furthermore status alerts are provided when your Facebook friends sign in or when they send you an instant message.
In addition, the tabbed instant message window makes Facebook Chat much easier to use.
